A HERB AND CHEESE TOPPING FOR BREAD
Ingredients....110gm of melted butter/ marg, 3 tbs of minced garlic, 1 dsp of chopped parsley, 1 dsp of chopped rosemary, 1 dsp of chopped thyme, 1 crusty sourdough loaf,100gm of grated mozarella cheese.
This is a very simple and delicious use of bread.
Preheat your oven to 180 deg C.
Place the butter/marg, garlic and hebs in a small bowland mix to combine.
Slice your sourdough loaf crust on the diagonal both ways to form a diamond pattern without cutting all the way through.
Gently ease the cracks open and drizzle the butter mixture in between along with the sgrated cheese.
Wrap the loaf in aluminium foil lined with baking paper and place on a baking tray.
Place in the preheated oven for bake for 15 minutes .
Remove the baking paper lined foil from the bread and bake until golden and crusty.
Serve hot but it is also delicious cold.
