TENNIS FINAL TEA AT THE MANOR

A day spent in the garden and a night full of anticipation being a spectator at the Australian Open Mens final ..via my TV screen . So it was time to eat and the only thing i wanted was a French toast 'toastie '. I liberally sprayed a pan with cooking oil and heated over a low heat . I soaked 2 slices of wholemeal bread in a creamy mix of cream , milk , minced garlic , cracked pepper , sumac and dried marjoram. I drained one slice and placed in the warming pan adding sliced Kumato tomato and topping with Havarti cheese , a drizzle of honey and closing off with the remaining drained bread slice . Continue to cook over a low heat , turning once till you have an iviting French toastie to enjoy watching the Aussie open final ... GO RAPHA NADAL !!!
