BRAISED RED CABBAGE WITH APPLES.

Ingredients.....60gm of butter/ marg, 1/2 red cabbage , finely shredded, 1 tbs of red inw vinegar, 2 apples, peeled and cut into thick slices, 1 tbs of sugar, cracked black pepper to taste. Melt the butter/ marg in a medium saucepan with a lid over a gentle heat. Add the shredded cabbage and vinegar, apples and sugar. Season with the cracked black pepper. Cover and cook till tender. A simple dish to accompany your pork roast. Serve hot.
