VERMICELLI PUDDING
The ingredients required ar 100gm of ghee ( clarified butter , found in the Asian food aisle in Woolworths ), 100gm of vermicelli , 750 ml of milk ,2 tbs of ground cardamon , 225 gm of clear honey , 100gm of sultanas .
This pudding is really easily prepared and can be served hot or cold .
Heat the ghee in a pan .
Break the vermicelli into 4 cm pieces ( 1 and 1/2 inches ) add to the pan and fry gently for 5 minutes .
now pour in the milk and bring to a slow boil .
Sprinkle over the cardamon and add the honey , spoon by spoon .
Stir well until the honey has melted .
Simmer for 10 minutes , then stir in the sultanas .
This pudding can be served hot or cold .
