Today I remade and revised the bacon and nut roll .
I used the original recipe adding some shredded chicken , seasoning with sumac and grated parmesan cheese .
I pressed the mixture into an ovenproof dish and topped with boccachini balls and cracked black pepper .
I then baked as per the original recipe ( 1 hour ).
While this was baking I prepared mashed potatoes seasoned with parmesan cheese and fresh herbs .
When the slice was cooked I added the herbed potato mash and halved mini tomatoes as a topping and extra herbed parmesan .
