BACON AND POTATO SOUP (1)

You will not realise how good life is until you have experienced this amazing simple soup. Chop 1 kg of all rounder potatoes without peeling and add them to a large saucepan with 1 litre of chicken stock along with 3 tbs of dried chives , 3 tbs of minced garlic , 1 tbs of bush curry powder( finally a little dried chilli..optional ) Bring this to the boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer until the potatoes are just tender . Add 300 ml of sour cream , stir until heated through . Seriously divine ....
