GIOUVETSI .... A GREEK SPECIALITY

Heat an open pan over a high heat
Place 4 sliced garlic cloves in the pan
1 tsp of ground black pepper
A good pinCH of salt
1 tsp of dried thyme
Juice of 2 lemons
1 large onion thinly sliced
Cook till onions are soft and translucent
Add 1 can of diced tomatoes
Stir to combine
Now ad 500 grams of sliced beef
And a sliced green capsicum and 1 red bullet chilli with seeds intact .
Cook through for 10 minutes.
Serve on a bed of black rice .......
